Pros: stretch sides, thin, Dora the Explorer design
Cons: no easy open sides, don't let children feel wet, expensive
Okay I have no idea who's idea it was to make and produce this training pant, but they should go back to the drawing board and think of ways to renovate the idea.
In the past, when my daughter was about two, The only choices of training pants there were was PullUps, EasyUps, and the store brand. When I decided to to potty train my daughter, progress was very slow. It took her a year and still no potty training success. I was frustrated. I took her to the doctor and he said she couldn't potty train until her bladder caught up growing with the rest of her body. So that meant it would be back to diapers again.
Since these were new on the market and there was good things being said about them, I decided to try them. The only thing I would have to do was to show my daughter how to pull them up and down. I was guessing she would not catch on to the Pull up idea very quickly seeing she hasn't been in one for a long time.
So I put these training pants in my shopping cart and bought them.
When I get home from buying diapers, I like seeing the features and what the diapers look like.
The Pampers Feel and Learn feature:
The wetness liner inside these training pants are supposed to make your child feel when they are wet. I have only had a handful of times having my daughter say she is wet. Its hard because she is so used to wet diapers, it does not bother her anymore. For some odd reason or another, the liner has tiny little rain drops on it. What's up with that?
The stretchy sides are a huge plus in my book. I like that because my daughter has freedom to move where she wants.
Dora the Explorer design-
My daughter pretty much likes these training pants for one reason. That reason is because they have Dora the Explorer designs on them. She absolutely loves that show. I don't really care what is on the training pants, but if my daughter is happy with it, so am I.
Now when put my daughter in one of these training pants for bedtime, I had second thoughts. My daughter is a heavy wetter and I thought these training pants may leak. But I just wanted to see if these training pants can make it through the night without being changed so I know to keep them or give them away.
The next morning I wake up, go to my daughter's bedroom to see how the Feel and Learn performed. No leaks! A what felt like ten pound training pant full of pee, but everything was contained in the training pant.
My final decision was to keep these and continue using Feel and Learn training pants.
