Pros: Very soft, seem comfortable on for baby
Cons: Expensive, and several jumbo packs leaked; water beaded up in the diaper
The Bottom Line: I loved them when they worked, but when they started to bead up water/urine; then there is no point- it's like not having a diaper on at all!

| rachellesims's Full Review: Pampers Swaddlers |
I started using Swaddlers from the day my daughter was born. I loved them. I used Newborn, size 1, and the first jumbo pack of size 2; no problems. Not one leak or blow out. I opened the second bag of size 2, and ever since that bag, an additional 2 bags, every diaper used leaked.
I finally ran one under the kitchen faucet and watched the water bead up, and then run off the diaper. Nothing soaked in. I even made sure to buy a bag with a different lot number. Same problem. I wrote to pampers, but they gave me the usual "its not our problem, its your daughters volume of pee" line, and sent me a free coupon for a jumbo pack.
While I appreciate that they tried to compensate, the free bag did the same thing. Needless to say, we're onto a different brand. So with that said, here is the rest of my review.
When I used them (and they worked) I LOVED them! I had no problems. They're soft, they have reusable tabs, they seemed to fit my daughter well; and even contained her when she started sleeping 7-8 hours straight through the night. They also have really cute Sesame Street baby designs on the front tabs! So sweet.
When they started beading up the water, I panicked. I had never used anything else, and didn't want to. They're pretty spendy, and I wasted money on three bags trying to get them to work. This really disappoints me, and I wish Pampers had handled it better. I even read something similar to my complaint here on epinions about their cruisers. Wish they would acknowledge problem and fix.
So, since the leaks, I can not recommend these. My recommendation is, if you're going to use them, test the first one by dropping a bit of water on the corner inside to make sure it will absorb. If it does, you're in the clear.
