Buying Panasonic Was a Mistake

The Bottom Line: Avoid this phone like the plague and, be suspect of all Panasonic products!

Bought this phone 5/19/03 and immediately noticed the range was less than my old 900 Mhz.phone, but figured I'd live with it. Over the course of the next 45 days, the range deteriorated to literally less than 30 FEET! Also, the handset goes dead if left off the charger in a couple of hours. The merchant, BEST BUY, refused to exchange or replace it since it was over 30 days. Despite significant pressure, Panasonic Service refused to replace the unit and insisted on either repairing it or sending me a used, reconditioned one. Some Service!!! Worst phone I have ever had with the worst manufacturer support to top it off. I will NEVER consider any Panasonic product in the future.
