Pros: Nice looking, loaded with features, clearn answering machine....but
Cons: horrid phone reception, loaded with static, returned 2 other phones.
The Bottom Line: Save your money and search for a better choice. There's a phone for everyone, but this one is not for this planet.

This phone is very attractive and sleek, pretty silver color, and well put together, nice appearance...but that's where it ends. After returning 2 of the same phones to Costco, I took one more chance with this phone, hoping the others were just defective, but this one turned out just as bad, maybe worse. It has a great selection of ringers and I was determined to keep the phone and overlook the poor quality of the reception. But after sticking it out for 5 months, I've reached the end of the line. It's going in the garbage pail today. There hasn't been one call without static, without the other party asking, "Where are you talking to me from, a sub-basement or what? You're drifting in and out and there's terrible static." I thought it was just our area's reception, but gee, not on every call; it's just not possible. The answering machine works great, the handset is comfortable, and all the added features would have made this the ideal cordless phone. If phone reception is not important to you, then this would make an ideal phone. But, hey, what else is a phone for but for talking? So, it looks good but is horrid for what it is meant to be used for....talking! Don't buy this Panasonic misfit. Just my two cents.
