Handset is a disappointment

Pros: Great features, love the answering machine is also accessible from the handset.

Cons: Poor battery life and phone will no longer keep a charge at all.

We got this expansion handset as a VERY EXPENSIVE gift along with the regular phone. The features are great and we love the answering machine feature on it and that sort of thing. Like everyone else is saying, there is a big problem with the battery. It died in less than a year, but whatever we replaced it. That one lasted two months. Now, the phone will not keep a charge at all. Brand new battery, you can leave it on the charger as long as you want, pick it up to use it and it will be dead. Wouldn't buy this product again and really are missing have a reliable cordless phone.
