Pros: lightweight, compact, incredible sound
Cons: a bit pricey, need to update my PC to run the software provided.
The Bottom Line: It has the best of both worlds, digital video and still. It was tough to find it locally to try out

I bought the 952 right before I left for a trip to Portugal. I have an old camcorder but i needed to get the feel for this one. The pictures were great and I found that the digital picture format came in very handy everywhere I went. The sound pickup was good, although I had to put the "wind blocking" on when I was out side since it did pick up the rustling of the wind.
I also bought the leather case that came with the camera however, the camera didn't fit in the case, the lens stuck out. Panansonic couldn't get one to try but told me that it should fit, poor service via Panansonic.
The zoom button is very sensitive, it's takes getting used to slow zooms so that the viewer doesn't get sick from the zooming in and out.
