I had a TV given to me. I love technology and home thatre stuff, especially things dealing with sound. A problem I has was that my TV only had one "in" jack. If I wanted to watch a dvd I would have to change up some cables. If I wanted to watch a vhs, I woud again have to move some cables around. This got really annoying. Then I bought this combo. Now that both a vcr and dvd player were conviniantly combined into one component I did not have to switch cables around when I wnated to watch a movie. The quality is good, and not just for the price. It sounds great, being a stereo vcr, and it also gives out a good Image because it is a four head vcr. Another thing I like about it is that it does not take up as much space as buying them seperately. Besides, buying a dvd plaer seperately takes up the same amount of space as a combo. DVD players are mostly air, if you know what I mean.
