| mcdocs's Full Review: Panasonic PV-D4752 DVD Player / VCR Combo |
The connections and operation were straightforward, and the remote was easy to use, but not lighted. Even though the player was connected to my HD television via component cables, it gave a poor picture quality, even in progressive scan mode. I actually had a better picture via my regular video (composite) cable hookup. I also had misreading of the DTS soundtrack (skips and chirps) with some of my DTS endoded DVD's. All due to poor laser alignment? I double checked my cables and hooked up another progressive scan DVD, and it worked fine. I had to send this Panasonic DVD/VCR back (had to pay S&H twice), so I had extra expense as well as aggravation. This in one product that I should have bought from a local vendor.
