I bought this combo unit for space reasons and was surprised at how superb the picture is when playing DVD's and VHS tapes. Its everything I wanted in a combo unit.Lacks Super VHS if thats important to you. Plays your audio CD's too. Also has progressive scan output for a clearer picture signal if you have a digital T.V. I had bought a Samsung combo unit(trying to save money) which I took back. It fluttered,paused when playing DVD movies.You can really notice the difference in quality between the 2. If your looking for a combo unit, buy this one. You wont be sorry.
