A TV With Bells and Whistles, But How Do You Use Them?

I was given this television as a gift a few weeks ago and I was impressed with the picture quality, sound, and all of the features (TV, VCR, DVD, FM Stereo). The first thing that struck me as a little "funny" though, was that you need to press 4 buttons on the remote control just to turn it on. If the television is hooked up to cable, you cannot utilize all of the features on the remote control unless you turn the cable function off. Hmmm... interesting and a bit bothersome.
I wanted to know more about how to do basic things such as adjust the color (the color on a few channels was a bit light), so i turned to the instruction manual. This was of no help as the instructions are a bit too cryptic. From what I can gather, there is no function available to adjust the color. I was also unimpressed with the FM stereo since I wasn't able to get any reception at all on any radio station.
I have to admit, I am still trying to discover any functions I may have overlooked, however, that may take a while with THIS instruction manual...
