Pros: inexpensive, great features
Cons: remote is poorly designed
The Bottom Line: A wonderful VCR that works for you! We'd buy it again even though the remote is pretty bad.

We love this VCR! The price is fabulous but it's not just that...
This VCR is fast when it skips commercials etc.
The commercial skip is our favorite. You dub your shows & then it marks the commercials & skips them on playback. No sitting with the remote! If we'd known how much we'd love this super quick skipping of commercials, we would have replaced our other VCR even before it died. One small glitch (but ignorable): sometimes the commercials don't get marked right. Likely due to the stations. Channel 2 here is touchy sometimes.
We have a camcorder so we love the AV inputs on the front of the VCR for easy access. I was so tired of pulling the VCR out to get to those things. There are plenty of input/outputs on the back as well though.
Our only complaint so far is the remote control. It is a bit awkward to hold to reach the top buttons. The worse though is that the volume & channel buttons are tiny & kinda hidden at the bottom. Very frustrating. Even the power button is not a larger size so no buttons jump out at you. We rarely use this remote & don't much care b/c we have so many other remotes that work the VCR.
