I decided on this great little DVD player because I can watch it on the airplane, in the airport, in the car, in bed with it on my stomach, on the patio or anywhere!!! ...... OR 2 wires to the tv video / audio and I watch it on a 50" screen! For me Panasonic and reliability have always gone hand in hand. This little beauty delivers picture and sound crisp and clear. I bought a splitter adapter at radio shack so both my wife and I can plug our headphones into this for private listening while flying or anywere.
The price has fallen greatly for this little gem. I've seen them go on ebay for $500.00 (new) and hagglezone.com also has them for low pricing.
I guess I really like the portability of it all. I buy used DVD movies (they can't wear out) on Ebay for about 50 cents on the dollar. Movies I don't care to keep forever I resell on Ebay for the same if not more than I pay for them.
Battery last 3 hours easy. Have never needed a spare. Just plug into the wall if battery goes dead. All the DVDs come with all kinds of cool extras. Trailers, interviews with directors and actors, scene retakes...some even have little secrets. Fun Toy
