Pros: Backlit LCD, locations of outputs, remote.
Cons: No backlit LCD with battery power, only with AC power.
The Bottom Line: If you can get a good deal on this, by all means do so, but the price to feature ratio isn't what it used to be.

| joethesoundguy's Full Review: Panasonic SL-S362C Personal CD Player |
I bought this CD player several years ago from Circuit City for about $110. At the time, it was well worth it. No other Walkman came with a nifty remote or had a backlit LCD screen. With 40 seconds of anti-skip protection, you are mostly set. I guess Panasonic wanted to conserve battery drainage when they disabled the backlit LCD when using batteries, but when using AC the screen looks nice. Parts are still made for this, which are easily ordered from Panasonic. I did so when I lost my battery cover. For the price, you can get the new waterproof Sony for the same price. Overall this was a good bargain and if it came down in price, I think it still would be.
