Pros: Free TV listings; Easy interface ; Web Control of your home VCR !!
Cons: 'Unable to connect' several days in a row- eventually corrects itself.
The Bottom Line: Get this - and not Tivo. TV listings should be free. Save time - get control of your TV viewing

The biggest benefit I've achieved is that 30-minute sitcoms now typically take me 16 minutes to watch after skipping commercials and the boring parts.
1 hour shows - about 37 minutes.
Main complaint is that the unit doesn't connect to the free tv listings phone number several days in a row sometimes. But when it eventually does, it pulls down 10-days worth of listings and you're all set.
This is usually not a problem, because I usually use the Show Title as the key, and not a specific time/channel recording. So, as long as 'Law & Order' plays anywhere on my channels - I get the last 2 episodes.
The web-interface @ www.myreplaytv.com is awesome. Both for cleaning up your VCR of old shows and for recording new ones.
Another major plus - my kids always have their PBS shows on TAP !. This is huge if you're someone who wants to control what your kids watch. There never is an excuse for watching what's on now - because their shows are available on demand. And there's nothing like zipping to the show in under 10 seconds - for a crying toddler - compared to hunting for the tape , rewinding and fast-forwarding till you get to the correct spot on tape.
