Ladysmom's Full Review: Pantene Color Revival Conditioner
For years I was an Abba junkie. I used their shampoos, conditioners, sprays and anything else that they manufactured. I thought this was the greatest stuff since the invention of the iPod.
When I travel, I would make sure I had my 3 oz on me, plus the bottle in my suitcase. I wasn't going to use anything that the hotels provided or the cruise ships and I was afraid that when I got out of the country I wouldn't be able to find Abba Moisture Scentsation Conditioner , except for the singing group, anywhere and I would be stuck. Well, I got stuck in June and had to borrow some conditioner from a friend, while out of the country.
My friend was using Pantene Color Revival Conditioner. I thought to myself, I am doomed, now. All this cold dry weather that I'm in is going to do a number on my hair, now. By the time I get home, my hair is going to be so dry that it's going to break off and I will be bald.
I used the Pantene Color Revival Conditioner out of desperation. I wanted some kind of help so that I would still have a few strands, left, of my fine hair when I got home so that I could give it a good conditioning.
Packaging
The Pantene Color Revival Conditioner stands on it's cap making the product easily dispensed.
Abba Moisture Scentsation Conditioner stands on it's bottom with a push cap. Sometimes the cap doesn't work so you have to unscrew it, then beat on the side of the bottle to get the conditioner out.
The first day I used the Pantene Color Revival Conditioner I noticed the scent, it was a nice clean, not perfumy scent.
Abba Moisture Scentsation Conditioner smelled like a flea treatment.
Pantene Color Revival Conditioner, you use an amount about the size of a quarter for chin length hair. Start working from the tips of your hair to the scalp. Let it sit for a few minutes and rinse.

How does fine hair feel after using each product?
Pantene Color Revival Conditioner, soft to the touch, very shiny, moisturized, not greasy feeling or stringy looking. Hair easy to manage.
Abba Moisture Scentsation Conditioner, sometimes like straw if you rinse just a second too long. Hair breakage, and fine hair looks like a huge cotton ball. Sometimes you can manage your hair, other times it can manage you.
Pantene Color Revival Conditioner, keeps your color treated hair looking fresh and natural.
Abba Moisture Scentsation Conditioner, fades the color quickly even though it says safe for color treated hair. Your hairdresser will ask if you have been spending a lot of time in the sun.
Price comparison
Pantene Color Revival Conditioner....$3.99 for a 12.6 ounce bottle and will last at least a month with daily use.
Abba Moisture Scentsation Conditioner...$14.99 for a 10.1 ounce bottle. more than likely will not last a month with daily use.
Are these two products easily found?
Pantene Color Revival Conditioner can be found at most large chain retailers, grocery stores, drugstores, just about any place shampoos and conditioners are sold, except a salon
Abba Moisture Scentsation Conditioner is found only in salons. You might find it in a high end grocery store, but more than likely, it's a knock-off. Who knows, the knock-off might be better than the real thing.
Which one of the two do I recommend?
Pantene Color Revival Conditioner hands down. If I want dry parched, straw like hair, I will make my next trip to a desert.
Honestly, I don't know why I was so loyal to something that smelled like a flea treatment. All of that has vanished from my mind since I found Pantene Color Revival Conditioner two months ago. I feel I have healthier hair and a lot more manageable hair. It looks fuller and for those of us who have fine hair, that means a lot, plus, I haven't had a problem with the conditioner.
I would give this 4 1/2 stars if there was a half a star. I could give it 5 if the alcohol content was lowered or done away with.
