The Product
The Pantene Color-Revival conditioner that I bought was 25.4 FL OZ but it comes in a smaller size as well. I believe it was approx. $7. You can find the product at most grocery/drug stores.
The directions on the bottle were: Apply to wet hair after shampooing. Comb through with fingers, beginning at end, gently working upward. Rinse well. Dry thoroughly. Use daily. Gentle enough to use on permed or color-treated hair.
Background: I have to admit that I'm a hair-color junkie. It all started in about 7th grade when I discovered semi-permanent hair color. My hair went from blonde to light brown to auburn to flaming red, all as gradual steps. Nowadays I have it semi-permanent red with permanent black on the ends. Re-dying it this way is difficult, so I try to find products that keep the colors vibrant for as long as possible. I never thought I would find a product like this one.
It all started one day when I was shopping in CVS and I passed over the Pantene section, which I usually never gave a second glance at because of the price. But I just so happend to pick up one bottle. That bottle was full of Pantene Color Revival Complete Therapy Conditioner. My eyes fell to the key words: "see six signs of healthy hair in 10 days". I was slightly reluctant about the price, but I bought a big bottle anyway.
The next morning I used my regular shampoo (not Pantene) and followed it up with the Pantene Color Revival conditioner. It comes out thick and creamy and smells great. I let it air-dry and wore it down. All day at work I got comments like "Wow, your hair looks great!" or "Hey, did you color your hair again? It looks so bright and healthy." I was elated! All these reactions and it was only the first day of use. You're supposed to see six signs of healthy hair after 10 days, not one day!
I continued to notice differences over the next week. My hair was silky and soft, less frizzy, and the color was much more vibrant. The "six signs" of healthy hair were:
shine - body - strength - softness - less frizz - silkyness
I noticed all of these signs after 10 days. I'm very happy with this purchase, and I would gladly buy again.
