Cons: none.
The Bottom Line: If you want your roots to be lifted...this is definitely the stuff.

I need some sexy hair for the sexy boys for my sexy dates. My hair is pin straight and it takes me 30 minutes to get it scrunchy with gel, mousse, and hairspray. When I wear my hair straight, I don't want frizzies or it to be very close to my face. I want lift. I want my hair to fall nicely and look extremely thick.
I love Pantene products also. I often use Pantene shampoo and conditioner and it is a brand I definitely trust.
I went to my favorite beauty supply store, CVS and got Pantene Pro-V Volumizing Root Lifter Spray Gel in a 5.1 fluid ounce bottle for $3.49. (CVS CARE CARD BABY!)
The bottle
The bottle is about seven inches tall, cylinder shape. It is off white and has a pump. It takes a few squirts to get it going but then it should be all right. This is a decent size bottle. I use it a couple times each week and it has lasted me about two months.
The smell
Pantene has that smell that you can't really describe but when you think of it you can smell it. So right now I'm smelling..flowers..lilac flowers with some kind of oil. Yum!

Ingredients
Water, PVP/VA copolymer, polyquaternium-4, benzyl alcohol, isosteareth-20, DMDM hydantoin, disodium EDTA, fragrance, panthenol, panthenyl ethyl ether, octyl salicylate.
Directions
Use on wet or damp hair. Do not rinse out. Spray liberally all over hair before styling. Apply directly to roots for greater volume. Dry thoroughly, flipping hair upside down for volume.

So yeah, I got out of the shower with my soaking wet hair. This time I was going for the STRAIGHT, blow dryed look.
I towel dryed my hair, put in this smoothing cream to take care of the frizzies and I DRENCH my hair in this stuff. My hair feels softer.
I blowdry my hair and I focus the hot air on my roots and LIFT them up. My hair feels really smooth, silky, and after I am done blowdrying it definitely looks and feels volumized. This stuff makes limp, dry, dull hair FAN-TAB-U-LOUS.
My hair is lifted off of my face. My hair doesn't feel dry and dull. I then taking a curling iron and throw some curls in. I'm set without a greasy gross feeling.
How about when you scrunch your hair?
When I am in the process of scrunching my hair (hairspray, gel, mousse) I spray this stuff on, flip my head, spray some more and whoolah, my hair isn't as weighed down as it was a minute ago.
Overall
Great product. I love the way it makes my hair feel and look. My limp hair is now volumized and sexy. 5 out of 5.
