Your review is great, also! I am a Chicagoan and live just down the street from the Park Hyatt. We frequent it often for meals and cocktails. The bar is a happening scene after dark!

I especially liked the little courtesy the staff showed your eight year old. That would convince me to stay there even if it were the only delight.
