My favorite shampoo

Pros: Wonderful Fragrance, can use without conditioner.

Cons: Not for everyone's budget.

The Bottom Line: I've tried many other salon-exclusive brands. Paul Mitchell Awapuhi cleans well without drying my hair and scalp. Look for promo offers to make it more economical to use.

I primarily use Paul Mitchell haircare products. My hair is long and coarse so I need a shampoo that is gentle, but cleans effectively. Awapuhi shampoo is thick and concentrated; I don't have to use very much to get results. It lathers well and rinses cleanly, but my hair doesn't feel stripped. I usually wash my hair daily and skip conditioning to every other day because Awapuhi shampoo seems to keep my hair moisturized.

Recommended for all hair types.

If you keep your eyes open for deals, they seem to offer bonus sized product 2-3 times each year.

Paul Mitchell products are not animal-tested, which is important to me.
