Pros:Yummy, light smell of fresh coconuts, Mostly natural ingredients.
Cons:Price.
The Bottom Line: A shampoo that is easy to live with, I recommend Paul Mitchell's 'Shampoo One' to anyone who wants great looking hair with little compromise.
When you get in the shower, the last thing you want to smell is cheap, flowery perfumed shampoo, right? Right. With Paul Mitchell products you can rest assured that no shampoo Paul Mitchell Systems produce's will give you that smell. All shampoo's are made mostly of natural ingredients, light fragrances, and no product Paul Mitchell sells is tested on Animals :)
'Shampoo One' is no exception to this Paul Mitchell rule. This shampoo has one of the best smelling ingredients of any shampoo I have ever tried. The smell of real, fresh Coconuts. This is no 'VO5' or 'White Rain' product with that smell of cheap perfume added to cover up all the harsh industrial chemical smells. Shampoo one is mostly of natural ingredients. Some of the natural ingredients in 'Shampoo one' include, Chamomile, Henna, Jojoba, and Rosmary.
Shampoo One is recommended for people for fine-medium-chemically treated hair, so basically anyone can use it. Shampoo One is very gentle, it cleanses well, yet doesn't strip your hair of moisture, and makes hair feel soft and vibrant after use. Only a small amount is needed. It comes out of the bottle clear, and works into a thick lather very quickly. Shampoo One also washes out of you hair completely, there is no waxy residue left behind.
After using Shampoo one, it is recommended that you use The Detangler or another Paul Mitchell conditioner. I'm not a big fan of 'The Conditioner' however The Detangler (see my review) works excellent.
The price for an 8 ounce bottle of 'Shampoo one' will set you back around 10 bucks. It is well worth the money, and despite all the products that claim to be as good, most are not, Suave included.
