I had no intentions of buying this toy. After all, what did my baby need with another "natural" themed toy? Then I saw this adorable bear, and I simply couldn't resist. My baby agrees. Whenever we put the bear next to him, he flashes a big grin, rolls over, and snuggles with the bear. He really loves the noises as well; they elicit the sweetest giggles from my little boy!
The Fisher Price Peaceful Planet Soothing Sounds Bear is soft and cuddly. He has a shock of soft tan hair, and bright and friendly brown eyes. His shirt is bright blue, a color psychologists says is known to be a calming color.
This bear has a plastic circle with a star and a moon on his belly. This serves as a motion detector. This motion detector is so sensitive that the youngest of babies can set it off. Whenever the detector senses movement, the moon and stars light up, and the natural sounds begin. It sounds like you're outside in the woods, with nothing but nature surrounding you. There are crickets chirping, wind softly rustling, and a gently chirping bird.
This toy is everything a parent could dream of. It's sweet, safe, and entertaining. My son and I are so glad I purchased it!
**REMINDER** NEVER leave your baby unattended with a stuffed toy, even if it is "safe." Always remove stuffed toys from baby's crib.
