There is a brand new product on the market. It is put out by Telebrands- I don't usually fall for the cheap marketing ploys of television advertising and late night salespeople hawking there wares. This time though the company has come through with a winning product called the PedEgg. As soon as I saw this device on television , I was very skeptical. My heels were very dry and very thickened on the base and I wanted to have them smooth and beautiful for the summer ahead. The model showed how easy it was, and completely painless. She opened the cover and reveled a lot of dead skin that was trapped into the PedEgg. I had to experiment with this device myself. .
This is a small hand held device shaped like an egg. It is a pedicure device that removes all the dead and hard calloused skin from your heels and toes and feet. It has a shaver device on one side. Although it looks like it is a potato grater . It looks like it might hurt to use it- the resultant test revealed the using of the device to be simple and totally painless.
You merely push the devise lightly back and forth over your heels and feet. At once the shaver starts to remove the dead and hardened skin and leaves your feet very smooth again. I also found I can use this on the sides of my toes and it does remove all the built up material on your toes. Your merely finish off the treatment with a heavy moisturizer and your feet can be sandal ready for the summer months. I use it very often- at least three times a week, and I have felt no discomfort or pain from the abrasion process.
Another bonus in design s the bottom of this device has a tight fitting back cover- this allows all the dead skin to collect into the cover. You won't have to worry about messing up your floors or your clothing as the devise makes the entire process neat and clean. You might have a little problem removing the cover if it is a tight squeeze- I have found the insertion of a metal file tip into the cover notch makes for a very quick removal.
I found the PedEgg in Walgreens, but they can be found in any drugstore. The cost is a very reasonable 10 dollars. They also have the ability to buy new shaving heads if the current one gets dull after usage.
