My little Yorkie Molly loves treats but she is a little bit picky. She doesn't like milk bones but she likes Pedigree Marrobone Treats for Dogs a lot. These little barrel shaped treats never fail to excite my dog and keep her busy while satisfying her urge for a treat. They're good for her too.

Packaging

Pedigree Marrobone Treats for Dogs come in a bright yellow foil bag in either 26 ounce or 6 pound sizes. The bag has a zip closure that seals it. The treats are little off white barrel shaped biscuits with brown marrow inside. I have the beef. I think they have other flavors as well. These little biscuits are small enough for my 7 pound dog to eat without having  to spend 30 minutes to break them down. They don't have much of an odor and don't break and make a mess in the bag or in my pocket if I carry a few for my dog when we are out walking.

My Experience

I thought every dog loved milk bones so I bought Molly two boxes of the small ones. She just didn't like them. She ate a few at first and then turned up her nose at them. When I saw Pedigree Marrobone Treats for Dogs, I gave them a shot. I never know until I try whether my dog will like a treat but she isn't the pickiest dog ever. She eats most treats I give her with varying degrees of enthusiasm.

When I gave her one of these biscuits, she immediately took it upstairs where she hoards her treats and toys. I thought maybe she was hiding it because she didn't like it. But lo and behold, she actually ate it immediately up there and came down for another. I gave her one more which she enthusiastically ate.

Since then, I have used Pedigree Marrobone Treats for Dogs for some types of training and just as general treats. Molly likes a variety of treats but so far, she seems to favor these and bacon strip treats the most.

These treats contain vitamins A, D, and E and have 12% Crude protein and 9% Crude fat. They are made in the USA which is a relief and are affordable.

Buying Info

You can purchase these treats on and offline anywhere that dog treats are sold. They are in grocery and pet stores. I bought the 6 pound bag which will last my little dog for ages. It was about $17.00. There are 26 ounce bags which are obviously a more reasonable amount but he price is higher per ounce. I give Molly two or three of these a day and the bag has lasted since I got her in April and is still at least one quarter full.

My Rating

Molly likes Pedigree Marrobone Treats for Dogs. They're bigger than the typical little training treat so I use them for when she does something extra good or for just a treat when she is hanging out and being her usual awesome little self. She enjoys the crunchy outside and the marrow inside and the taste must be good because she isn't sick of them yet. These don't have a lot of chemicals in them and are made with real meat and bone meal. They do have sugar and fat in them but my dog is skinny and needs the extra calories. I give these 5 stars. I don't know what else I could want from a dog treat.
