Pros: Easy to apply, instant results, works on bikes, bike tires, and anything with paint.
Cons: Is a bit expensive, doesn't make much difference on anozided frames.
The Bottom Line: A must have for owners of higher-end bikes, but makes a definite difference for anyone with a painted frame. Even works on tires to shed mud faster!

----- Why polish my BIKE? -----
For cyclists with expensive bikes things that would make a average biker cringe dont seem so bad anymore. Ill give you an example, how about paying $10 for a 12 oz bottle of bike polish? If you need to justify it a little better, you can also use on anything with clear-coat paint. Pedros is best known for its line of cycling lubes and cleaners, but they do make a darn good polish with Bike Lust. Instead of a wax based polish which requires lots of rubbing, buffing, and several coats to look best, Pedros went with a spray-silicone polish. This makes for a simple spray and rub application process to appeal to lazy bikers like me.
When I purchased my Specialized S-Works E5 road bike my local bike shop gave me a complimentary bottle of Bike Lust to try out. Their gift has payed off, Ive purchased 2 more bottles since then and need to pick up another one for this summer. Not only does Bike Lust keep your paint looking good, it also protects the finish from harmful UV rays and other unfriendly things such as bird droppings, sap, and tar. To clean the dirtiest areas of my frame I first spray with Pedros Bio Cleaner and make sure all the gunk is gone. I then spray plenty of Bike Lust on and rub it in really good with a soft cloth. If I used Bio Cleaner sometimes Ill spray on a second coat of Bike Lust after the first one dries.
A quick note on different bike frame materials. I've tried Bike Lust on a Specialized Stumpjumper with the "Raw" aluminum look, it didn't do anything for the shine or color of the bike. I've also tried Bike Lust on Santa Cruz Blur with and anodized citrus frame, again it didn't look any different. In other words unless it was shiny once, Bike Lust won't make it shiny now.
One thing I discovered that surprised me was how good BL works on motorcycles. I noticed my gas tank and side covers were looking pretty sad on my Honda Shadow this spring, which bummed me out since I was going on an all-day charity ride the next weekend. I suddenly thought to myself, why not try Pedros Bike Lust on my Shadow? After applying two coats to the tank, fenders, and side covers, I was extremely impressed with how good my ride looked. Bike Lust really brings out the curves, lines, and contours in my gas tank while simultaneously hiding the tiny surface scratches and imperfections. Ive used it as a motorcycle polish ever since and even used it on my dads bikes. You can find Bike Lust in 14oz pump-spray bottles ($10), 32oz hand-spray bottles ($16), and 1 gallon ($50) bottles. Most bike shops will have the smaller size in stock, if you need larger amounts I'm sure you could special order them without any trouble.
I spend enough on my bicycles I like them to look good, Pedros just makes it easier for me to keep them that way. If you have several bikes or even motorcycles that you want to spiffy up, check out Pedros Bike Lust. Its not that expensive when you consider your times savings that you could use to go riding.
