The Bottom Line:

If you are looking for a lightweight stroller that doesn't skimp on features or comfort this is a good one to consider.

After reading many reviews on the Peg Perego Aria OH and other lightweight strollers, and "test driving" as many as I could I am hopeful I made the right decision.  I know the Peg Peregos are a love them or hate them product so there were either really good reviews or really bad ones so this was a hard decision to make.  Here's what I love about this stroller so far:  it is the lightest on the market that still has all the must have features of a full size stroller.  The cup holder, while small, will hold a 12 oz soda can which is all I really need!  The cup holder does swivel so it doesn't tip easily and I like that it is mounted on the side and not between the handlebars b/c when you hit a bump the soda spills on the ground not on the stroller.  I do wish that there was a place to keep my keys and cell phone but I can either keep them in my diaper bag or buy an add on.  The sunshade has great coverage.  With my old stroller I had to always keep a hat on my sun to keep the sun off his head and out of his eyes but this one covers him completely.  I do wish the window on the shade was better, maybe a clear plastic like others I've seen.  It is tinted mesh so it can be harder to see through but the position of it is good and it is bigger than most.  I just wish I knew if the shade and or window had SPF protection.  The seat is solid and cushioned unlike many umbrella strollers that have a hammock seat.  Even the sides are padded so my son can rest his head and still be comfy.  I like the idea of the "freedom of movement" harness b/c my son hates to be held back but it is a little combersome.  I think the more we use it (we just got it) the easier it will be though.  It lets him sit upright but still be secure.  The child's tray is great and a good height.  My son is on the small side (7 mos and 16 lbs) so a lot of the trays sit way to high for him.  The basket is a good size and will fit a med. diaper bag plus some other things.  I don't find it hard to get things in or out when the seat is up.  The seat has a nice recline but it does require two hands (no big deal for me).  The fold and release are easy once you get the hang of them.  Maybe not one handed but close.  It has a handle on the side so it's easy to get in/out of a car. The stroller seems sturdy and I don;t worry about tip overs like with many of the lightweight 3-wheel strollers.  I am 5' 4" and the stroller is a good fit.  I can see that someone taller might kick the wheels or basket though.  Overall it is a nice looking stroller but not as cool as some of the others on the market in the same price range.  Here's what I worry about: There were a lot of bad reviews about the wheels.  People said the don't hold up.  I'm hoping since this stroller for us is primarily for quick outings and errands, not for long walks that we won't have that problem.  I also read that the heavier the child the harder it is to steer.  Right now the steering is great but time will tell if it stays that way.  The plastic handlebar, while comfy, does feel a little cheap and some reviews mention it splitting.  In the end I decided that the pros really outweight the cons for this stroller; it offers more of what I'm looking for than any other stroller;  wheels can be replaced if need be; and that the sale price I bought it at
($149) couldn't be beat.
