Ease of Use:
Pros:lightweight, folds and unfolds easily
Cons:very poor steering, inadequate visor, pulls to one side
The Bottom Line: You can get better value for money elsewhere.
I am the stroller queen...at least that is what my husband tells me. I have 6 strollers - evidence of my attmept to find the best stroller for ease of use and practicality. I have 3 girls under 3 years old and I bought this stroller despite some mixed reviews because I was extremely attracted to its lightweight feel and dual seating. I have a bad back so a light stroller was a "must have". When I tested the stroller in the store, it was smooth and easy to manuever, however when we used it out on the street it was different. The disparity in the weight of my girls made the stroller veer to a biased side (the heavy side). The stroller is light making the the pull in steering very obvious and slightly annoying. The steering is okay/manageable in wide open spaces despite the tendency to pull to one side, but when you try to fit this stroller through a doorway the steering makes it nearly impossible to do it approaching front on. I always have to reverse my way through a doorway to get through it or else the front wheels just keep banging into the door frame no matter how accurately and carefully I try to steer it which is extremely frustrating. The other thing I have a problem with is the visor. It's nearly non-existant and does nothing for sun protection whatsoever. There might as well not be one to be honest, so I have to make sure the girls wear a hat and sunblock when we are outside. Also, I found that having a side-by-side stroller has inherent disadvantages in that if one child wants to sleep the other child sitting next to them may not want them to, so they poke and disturb the sleeping child with ease and things get even more interesting as they are within arms distance for whacking and hitting, especially when it comes to toys and "what's mine". In short, I paid a small fortune for this stroller and probably would NOT have purchased this stroller if I knew these flaws. You can get a lot more value purchasing something else, for example, a single stroller with a "hitch hicker" skateboard platform attached to the back. You can get it from Toysrus. My girls like this a lot because they think it's fun and it's much cheaper and light in weight. Plus, they can sit on the skateboard platform when they get tired of standing. Hope this review helps.
