User Rating: Excellent
Ease of Use:
Pros:Very sturdy, umbrella fold, adjustable handles
Cons:Basket underneath, weight
The Bottom Line: If you need a stroller to have in your trunk for shopping I would recommend you buy the Aria instead. It's less money and the basket underneath is more accessible.
Peg Perego makes great strollers and this one is no exception. I was, however, trying to decide between this one and the Peg Perego Aria and I'm still not sure I made the right decision. I decided on the Pliko because mainly I had read that it has more durable wheels on it and I know that it does. I use it outdoors when I am walking and the wheels show no signs of wear and tear.

I also love the fact that the handles raise and lower. My husband is a foot taller than me (I'm 5'2") and I like the handles lowered and he likes them raised. However, when I am power walking I raise the handles up because I find that when I take long strides I come close to kicking the stroller. When I'm walking normally the short handles are great.
The Pliko has a parent cup holder and a child cup holder. We use both on a daily basis and they are great. The seat is very easy to recline and is evidently quite comfortable based on the number of times my child has fallen asleep in it.
I LOVE the umbrella fold. This is such a great feature (the Aria does this too). It fits in my trunk so well and I still have tons of other room for it. My sister in law's stroller takes up the entire bottom of my trunk since it is not an umbrella fold. It took a little practice folding and unfolding it but once I got it I found it very easy to do.
Now the negatives...if you've read anything at all about the Pliko you've heard the basket underneath isn't up to par. I totally agree. It's not the size so much as it is the fact that you can NOT get to it! I can put my large diaper bag in there but I have to push and pull and tug to squeeze it in there. And then I have to make sure the pockets of my diaper bag are accessible because I am NOT taking that thing out when I go to pay somewhere. I will say it is fairly easy to get my purse down there and most shopping bags but anything larger than an average sized purse is going to have to be shoved down there. You can tell what I'm talking about by looking at a picture online.
The Pliko is also heavier than other strollers (namely, the Aria). This isn't a huge problem because it is very manageable. But there are times I wish it was lighter as I'm putting it in and out of my trunk.
If I had it all to do over again I would probably buy the Aria to keep in my car for shopping (it's lighter and has a bigger basket) and the Pliko or a jogging stroller to keep in the house for walks outside.
The Pliko is a great stroller but it does have a couple of drawbacks. I don't feel like it was worth the extra money spent over buying an Aria in the long run.
