Pros: none
Cons: no way to know if they will even consider approving you before you apply
The Bottom Line: Why don't they just announce what the minimum credit score you need to have before they will consider you?

| dbauer2000's Full Review: PeopleFirst Lending |
Both my wife and I have applied for two different types of loans with this company, one a refinance and the other a motorcycle loan, and neither loan was approved. Our credit scores were very close to 700 at the time we applied. My wife has never been late on a payment in her life and I have a substantial credit history with a couple late payments but evidently that is not good enough for their approval criteria. Both loans were only for $8000 which surprised us even more when they declined to loan us money. We can go to any bank and get a loan without a problem but we wanted the extremely low interest rates that People First offers. Make sure your score is well above 700 (more like 730) or don't bother applying, it will only count as a credit review against your credit report and bring your score down further.
