| blimbach's Full Review: Pertussin DM Adult Cough Suppressant |
When I was teaching school I picked up many colds. It seemed that one or more of the children had a cold most of the time, and parents often sent them to school even when they were ill. If my resistance was down or I was overtired, I caught the cold, too.
Usually my colds started in November but gradually moved up earlier in the year until I was sick much of the fall season. Part of this was due to allergies developed as I aged, but for whatever reason, my colds settled in my chest.
Once the dreaded coughing started, I tried many brands of cough medicine.
Finally I found Robitussin and now am never without it in my medicine chest. It takes away that awful tickle and allows me to sleep in bed instead of sitting upright in a chair for part of the night. I am sure my husband appreciates my not coughing the night away next to him.
This medicine in very inexpensive and really cuts through the cough. It has a pleasant taste, too. The only thing I do not like is the stickyness that drips on the outside of the bottle, leaving a ring on the counter. Wiping off the bottle after use would solve that, but when one does not feel well, that is just one step too many.
I recommend that you give this a try. It may help you as it did me more times than I can count.
