Time for something different, that was the request my cats gave me using the full range of feline facial expressions. You know what I am talking about. The upturned face with wide eyes gazing intently at you. Perhaps the tip of their tongue just tipping out from between their teeth, a silly, endearing look. All the while a soft, but volume increasing, purring sound emanates to fill the room. Soon it has its intended effect...hypnotizing you into a state of agreeable, affable, "life is wonderful" bliss. What? You want a truckload of anchovies? Sure, be right back.

This treat is readily found but I have only seen them available at Petco, and believe them to be a "store brand". Pet Gold Masters Premium Diet Cat Treats are found in 3 flavors: Shrimp, Seafood, and Anchovy. Supplied by International Pet Supplies and Distribution Inc., in California, the flavor I am reviewing today, the Anchovy treats, are a product of Thailand.
~Accessing the Anchovies
Your search for anchovies over, your only size choice has a net wt. of 1 oz. The blue plastic bag features a clear peek-inside window showing you the tempting sight of whole, dried anchovies. The bag is gusseted so it will stand up which allows you greater ease for riffling inside. Getting inside is easy - snip off the top plastic to expose the zip lock opener, which reseals easily. There is no use-by date on the package.

Yup...a pure and simple treat, these dried anchovies are not cleaned up to be aesthetically pleasing to human eyes.
