While listening to music on my old, bulky portable CD player one day, I decided that I would invest in a newer, hip looking player. After seeing one of my friends with the new Philips portable CD player, I almost instantly decided I needed "one of those." When I made a trip to the store, I was surprised to find out the price to be only 60 dollars. Too good to be true? No, just a great portable CD player at a great price.
I bought the player, and tested it out as soon as I got home. What I heard what great sound, and more importantly, no skipping. With the high demands of people today, it is no wonder the CD player comes along with 25 seconds of ESP, which stands for Electronic Shock Protection. This means that even if the CD player gets jolted, it wont skip. Unless of course you sat there for 25 seconds shaking the CD player, which I doubt anyone would do.
If your looking for standard features also, the Philips portable CD player comes packed with those too. Digital bass boost and a long battery life are just some of the features you'll get for the low 60 dollar price.
Being a heavy internet user, I've experienced with the new technology called MP3. I also own a CD-Recorder, which I use to record MP3s to CDs. I was a bit worried about my recorded CDs working, until I discovered that my new CD player will play all variations of CDs, including recorded CDs.
Now by now you may be thinking I'm a pretty satisfied consumer, and your 100 percent correct. I had no complaints with this wonderful product, and have still had no complaints till this day. If your looking to invest in a new portable CD player, I highly suggest the Philips line of players.
They are quality built, and actually have a quality price! (Something I like seeing.)
