kristinafh's Full Review: Philosophy Remember Shampoo, Bath & Shower Gel
As I continue to make my way through every product that Philosophy has ever offered, it's very important that I mention something specific to you about Philosophy Remember Shampoo, Bath, and Shower Gel.
100% of the money you spend on this product is donated to Women's Cancer Research Fund.
That's right friends. Not 10%. Not 50%. 100%. Pretty impressive if you ask me. If you have any love for Philosophy products and like their 2-in-1 bath products, you really can't go wrong with buying this.
What Philosophy Promises
You know. I'm not sure. Usually on the bottle, you'll have something that tells you the benefits of the product. While it does describe the light scent and milky/creamy essence, beyond that, you are left to guess what benefits you derive from it.
Directions
Wet your hair and/or body. Pour some stuff into your hands. Rub and massage away, baby. Make sure you rinse.
And I Think?
Something I need to tell you up front is that most 2-in-1 and/or 3-in-1 products are met by me with skeptic. I have dry skin and dry hair. Both types of products usually leave a lot to be desired and in the case of a 3-in-1, you will never, EVER find me NOT using an additional conditioner. It's just this quirk I have.
With that said, I'm pretty impressed with Philosphy's Remember. I have to tell you that the thick, milky, and rich consistency of the gel is quite amazing. In fact, I think it even glimmers. The scent, which I initially thought reminded me of their Amazing Grace products (a scent I can't stand), is lighter and not as perfume-y.
I have used this both as a shampoo and shower gel and in both cases I'm very happy with it's lathering abilities and moisturizing feel. While it will never replace the additional step of lotion after the shower, what it doesn't do is strip more moisture out of my skin.
And my hair? The gel is as good as other non-color treatment shampoos. You won't find it to leave any particular residue nor does it seem to strip out any moisture above and beyond what normal shampoo's do.
