A few weeks ago, I went on a trek to the drugstore to stockpile my family's health and beauty "needs". One thing on my URGENT list...was to purchase "something new" for my son's recent acne breakout.
My poor baby has been suffering from some serious breakouts lately and it seemed he was in need of something to work along with the OxyPads (see my review ZitZappers).
So there I stood in front of the massive selection of facial washes, cleansers,toners, creams, scrubs...Oh my...it is exhausting just thinking about it.
Well, I am not known as an impulsive buyer...so... much to my hubby's chagrin...I felt compelled to investigate. Believe me when I tell you...I read the label on just about every product available! (this did end up "costing" me... while waiting for me to decide...hubby found himself another new computer magazine to add to his collection!!LOL)
I had selected several items and placed them in the top basket of my cart for further inspection...when I came across the pHisoderm section.
I was looking for something that would be gentle and not irritate my son's skin further. Also, I didn't want a high Salicylic Acid content, since he regularly uses other products with that ingredient.
Ok...I was sold!! At $3.79 for 14 fl. oz....it seemed to be a good buy!
I have to tell you...I sure did make a good choice (patting self on the back)!! I swear I noticed a difference in my son's skin condition OVERNIGHT! I honestly was amazed...the redness had decreased DRASTICALLY and the pimples seemed to shrink...like magic!
My curiosity got the best of me...so I decided to try it out for myself!
Now..I am SERIOUSLY sensitive to salicylic acid...so I was a teeny bit apprehensive...but I jumped in anyway!
I wet my face...squeezed a small amount of pHisoderm Acne into my palm..and slowly began massaging the cleanser onto my face. The first thing I noticed was its pleasant scent....it sort of resembles Herbal Essence...very light..very fresh. None of that medicinal smell...some cleansers have. It's consistency is a thin gel-like substance.
Ok...I'm massaging...and it's not stinging!! Very pleasant surprise...since most cleanser sting my face! I wait a minute or two (very important part of using phisoderm...you MUST leave it on a for a minute to let it work) and rinse my face with warm water and pat dry with a clean towel!
My face felt fabulous....smooth, clean and fresh! No tightness or dry feeling...just clean skin!
I've used this product every other day for the past few weeks and my skin is cleaner and feels softer than ever. I haven't had a bad breakout, even under stress!
I recommend pHisoderm Acne for anyone who has mild to severe acne. Those of you who suffer from severe acne, however, may want to consider using this cleanser along with another cream or cleansing pad.
One last thing...pHisoderm Acne can also be used on other parts of your body where acne might be a problem. As the label says...pHisoderm Ance...

3. Nurtures skin gently
4. Helps prevent new acne from forming.
