PING g2i Anser Putter: Great Putter That Helped Me Shave A Few Strokes

I was recently in the market for a new putter to replace my HiPPO try-polymer that I bought last year. I wanted a putter from a great brand known for its superb putters, so I tried out PING, Never Compromise, Odyssey, even a Cleveland. The Odyssey 2-Ball was a solid putter but just felt weird and was a little out of my price range. I didn't hole many putts at all with the Cleveland, leaving me with the PING g2i putter in the Anser model, and a center shafted Never Compromise. I sunk many putts with each of them, but the NC was also far out of my price range. I chose the Anser (34", black dot), and began shaving strokes.
I love my Anser because of it's good looks, it's price, it's Winn grip, and it's excellent feel. I got it for just $100, and most of today's top putters go from $160-$300. The special hosel only found on Anser putters makes the club offset and easy to line up. The blue Winn AVS grip is very soft and feels excellent in my hands, just like all Winn golf grips. The feel of this putter is amazing, i noticed right away. I have significantly better distance control than with my old HiPPO and I noticed right away when I made every putt or left it just an inch or two out.
The PING Anser is one of the most popular and best-performing putters in golf. You'll find it in the bags of average duffers and tour professionals. If you're in the market for a new putter, give the anser, or another putter in the g2i series a try. I don't think you'll find anything better for $100. Since the purchase, I've lowered my scores by about 3 strokes a round, and I walk to every putt with much more confidence.
