Pros:Excellent power handling capability and crystal clear.
The Bottom Line: If purchasing these speakers I would recommend at least an amp that puts out 50 watts RMS/channel, more power, better sound.
I have been knowledgeable of car audio for several years now.
Ever since I put my first system in my first car I always wanted more. I've had experience, good and bad, with a bunch of brands. I learned that performance costs money and you get what you pay for.
I feel in love with Pioneer when I put my Premier headunit in my second vehicle. Ever since then I have known that Pioneer is a great company. If you need a car stereo system go with Pioneer components, amps, headunits, etc.
Anyway, back to the speakers I had purchased. As soon as I received these puppies I could not wait to put them in my car.
I also purchased a Pioneer 480 watt amp to power them. It took about one hour to install them, time to test them out. When I heard these for the first time I felt like I was 17 again. There was absolutely no distortion and the bass that these 6x8's put was amazing.
You'll want to sit in you car, in the driveway, and listen to these all day long. Pioneer definitely hit the nail on the head with these speakers.
