Pros: Power, 5 Disc Changer, Sound
Cons: Console Interaction, Number of inputs
The Bottom Line: Overall, I am very happy with this unit. In my estimation, the benefits outweigh the drawback and I'd easy recommend it to anyone looking to get a basic HomeTheaterSystem.

For the Price, this is undoubtedly one of the best models out there...
Benefits:
Receiver and 5 Disc CD / DVD player in one component. 500 Watts of power. 5 speaker / 1 subwoofer configuration. Plenty of Sound Options and presets, so you can get decent sound without getting heavy into the details of customizing the sound output. Quick set up. A ton of wire, so your rear speakers can be on the back wall without having to buy more wire (My back wall is 12 feet from the Receiver and I have it through the wall, over the same wall, across the ceiling (suspended ceiling) and down into the rear speakers - with wire to spare). The Sound quality is great (everything you'd expect from Pioneer).
Drawbacks:
Not a ton of inputs - I have my VCR, TV, and Antenna in already and have 1 additional Aux. input. Other receivers give you more options for building and customizing your Home Theater System. But for a basic system, this meets my needs.
Side Speakers - They are a bit small, but bigger than the Rear Satellite Speakers, however they don't have screws (so you cant hang them (even though you they are small enough you could)). And they are too small for alot of the Speaker stands on the market. They sound great regardless, but I might upgrade these at some point.
Console interaction - You can't do a bunch directly on the console (like change sound configurations). All of this must be done through the Remote (so don't lose it).
