tennark's Full Review: Pioneer TS-W307D4 Car Subwoofer
First off, I would like to let you know that I have been involved in car audio for approximately 4 years. I have ran systems such as Pioneer, MA Audio, Sony, Audiobahn, and various others. I purchased two of these subwoofers, and I would find out though that even though the price would look awesome that I would spend more money in gas taking the defective products back to the store to get them replaced. I placed a 400 watt Audiobahn amp on the two subwoofers so wattage was not a problem to the subs. Yet, the coils always seem to go out on the speaker. The sound quality is what you pay for. This is mostly true in the car audio world if you are a first time buyer to the market. If you want a loud stereo system, you better get ready to spend quite a bit of money into your new investment. If your looking for a nice starter set, this may be what you want to look into if you are willing to risk the coil problems. Pioneer is a good brand of speakers not the best but not the worst either. I would recommend though you not purchasing this speaker. If your looking for something cheap but with a good punch, I would try Memphis :D!
