| speakerboy's Full Review: Pioneer VSX-D711 5.1 Channels Receiver |
I enjoy listening to the amazing digital effects that this receiver creates when watching movies. It makes movies much more enjoyable because when it turns on it makes you feel like you're in the scene of the movie yourself. Also with 100 watts a channel it is no wonder why this amp fills up any size room with high quality sound. You can also program how far each speaker is from where you like to sit, all with the easy to use remote. This makes movies better because it ensures that the signal reaches you at the right time from all of the five speakers. This receiver also has many inputs including AUX, DVD/LD, SAT, Video, Tape, and CD. Conveniently it includes component video, s-video and, composite video switching. The only thing I don't like about it is that it has trouble putting out loud low-end bass but that doesn't affect anything if you are not planning on powering big subwoofers. I think that it is an excellent receiver, especially for a good price. (I got mine for only $120).
