Pros: Hands-free; actually has a headpiece for easy wear.
Cons: the around-the-ear addition is difficult to use.
The Bottom Line: Great product, but you could probably get a similar product cheaper elsewhere. If not, it's definitely worth the money- a great buy!

| prnsssrena's Full Review: Plantronics M135 Headset For Cellular & Cordless P... |
This particular product from Plantronics, the M135 Headset, is one that I have used myself. As a driver, it's important to stay safe on the road, and hands-free sets are supposed to make driving so much safer. Yet this particular product, with its additions, seems to contradict that supposition a bit.
The piece as a whole is great. The part of the headset that you hear from is rounded, so it's fairly comfortable against your ear, and you get excellent sound quality from it. However, the addition of the around-the-ear piece is somewhat difficult to you use without the removable headband. If you happen to have a larger ear than the piece, it can be quite uncomfortable, and just getting the earpiece to stay next to your ear without the removable headband is rather difficult, if not impossible.
The greatest feature, though, is that on the wire going from the headset itself to the phone, you have a volume control! You can change the volume by hand by this control (though I'm still not sure if it was the volume of the mike or the volume going into your ear that is controlled) and you can also mute your microphone completely with the flick of a switch.
Altogether worth the money, and a great buy... however, some cellphones are not compatible with the kind of plug at the end of the headset wire. (You need to have a 1/8" female plug on the bottom of your cellphone; the plug on the headset is a 1/8" male, if you understand that technical stuff.) Adapters are available, though, and relatively cheap.
