| ONLYTRUTH's Full Review: Playskool 1-2-3 High Chair |
This is another one of my favorite baby items. I researched many high chairs and one of the main reasons that I decided on the Playskool 1-2-3 is the T-bar. The T-bar is a sturdy piece of plastic that goes between the child's legs so that they do not slouch or climb out (this was a big problem on my last highchair with my oldest). There is also a three-point harness style strap that encircles the baby's waist and comes up between baby's legs. The strap is very simple to snap and my daughter at 2 still has not gotten it undone!
Here are some other things that contributed to my buying decision.
*The tray is Microbanned. It is supposed to resist bacteria. Any mother knows that this is important. Now I am not a scientist and have no proof that this actually works but hey it sounded good when I got it! It is very easy to clean and I have not had any problems with staining. It features a raised outer portion that prevents food from going on the floor. The tray is also easily removable with one hand.
*There is also a nifty storage compartment in the back that can hold extra bibs which is nice when you need something now.
*This bad boy reclines and adjusts to the height that you need. This is a must have for any highchair! The reclining position is great for infants and babies just starting on solid foods. The height adjustment worked well for me when my daighter got a little older and wanted to sit up to the table to eat with us. There are a total of 6 height adjustments so you will be sure to find one that you like. I just removed the tray and it fit right under the table. This way we all were eating together at the table as a family.
*Playskools 1-2-3 chair is very durable and easy to clean. The vinyl pad is removable and can be easily wiped down with a rag. Even the the harness is removable for machine washing, however this does take a few minutes to remove. Overall, I have been more then pleased with this chair. Although it is a little expensive it is well worth the few extra dollars.
