We currently have 5 highchairs lining the wall of our dining room and this Playskool 1-2-3 chair is one of them. We have had this chair for almost 2 years and it still looks great.
I love the fact that the chair will recline for feeding infants and the recline is a great feature if you have a baby that likes to cat-nap after a good meal as I do. I have triplets and feeding is like an assembly line and by the time I get done feeding all three of them the one that eats first is almost always asleep.
I do not mind when they fall asleep in the chair with the
safety features this chair has like the T- bar between babies legs so he can't fall through the bottom and the 3 point harness the baby is safe and secure in his chair (although of course you never want to leave a child unattended in a highchair no matter how safe it is).
The Playskool 1-2-3 high chair cleans up really well and will not leave any stains even after a spaghetti dinner mess! The cushions on the chair come off really easy and make for easy washing of the chair itself and the cushions. I do not know if it would be recommended but I have put my cushion to this chair in the dishwasher after a really messy meal and it came out looking great, just a suggestion. The vinyl that covers the cushions is very thick compared to some high chair cushions and has not ripped yet and shows no signs of wear.
Another neat feature to this high chair is the fact that it will adjust to many different height's making the chair very versatile as a child gets older and wants to sit with mom and dad at the table just take the tray off and pull the chair up to the dinner table with you!!
The absolute only thing I can complain about with this seat is that the thee point harness is white? Why a company makes something for infants to eat in then puts a white CLOTH harness on it I will never figure out. It is near impossible to keep really clean looking but with the tray on it is not easy to see the harness!
Overall this has been a great high chair for us and I would highly recommend this to others!!
