I got a coupon for these wipes and, combined with a sale at my local CVS, I was able to get a package of these wipes for $1.50. Since this is a good price for wipes, I decided to give them a try.
THE PRODUCT
These wipes are very similar to other products on the market. They come in a soft plastic bag with a hard plastic top that is used to dispense the wipes. Those environmental types that are into less product waste might appreciate that these wipes don't use a hard plastic box that will take eons to decompose in a landfill, but there are lots of wipes that use similar packaging to this product.
The wipes themselves are very similar to other wipes. There is virtually no scent to this product. There is a scented version of this product if you prefer scent with your wipes.
These wipes have almost no texture. Some wipes have ridges or bumps that are supposed to make it easier to clean baby. I find that the texture of the cloth has no impact on the cleaning process so I don't care either way.
These wipes stay moist in their package and are the same level of wetness as other wipes.
Baby's skin didn't react to these wipes although she hasn't reacted to any wipes.
These wipes dispense easily and pull out of the container with one hand. Of course, most other brands I have used are exactly the same way.
OUR EXPERIENCE
I don't really have a preference when it comes to wipes. I find they all function pretty much the same. I also don't care too much about scent. Generally, if you have wipes in hand, you are already in a smelly situation. A small amount of scent isn't going to make a difference. Also, none of my three kids ever had a reaction to wipes. So, at the end of the day, I am not loyal to any one brand for wipes. I generally shop for them based on price. This brand of wipes is still new so they are publishing a lot of coupons for them. Plus, a lot of stores have them on sale. As a result, I ended up with a bunch since they are frequently on sale. However, when the sales end, I will probably go back to buying whatever is cheapest.
FINAL RECOMMENDATION
I guess it is hard to be innovative when it comes to thinking up ways to distinguish yourself among baby wipes. I usually just buy the brand on sale since my baby's bottom doesn't seem to care which brand we use and they all seem to work about the same. I would recommend these wipes if you have a coupon but wouldn't encourage anyone to go out of their way to find them.
