What can you purchase a two year old beyond her years?

Let's face it , my daughter will be two on Feb. 09 '02 . So , though she is not actually two yet , she is very intelligent for her age . She could apply lipstick right by her first birthday . She's not interested in all the baby things appropriate for her age . With Christmas here I didn't know what to do . She will be getting at least a dozen assorted babies that do different things . Child safe makeup and a vanity . So , I needed something to add variety to her stash of Christmas presents . That's when we ran across Babysitting Surprise Cassie .

Where To Get Yours

I came across several dolls at our local K-mart during the summer months . They were originally $24.95 . I found them marked down twice , once to $12.00 and then to $6.00 . They still had a couple left last week and today is 12/21/01 . So , to get your best deal , check a Kmart out and see if they have them clearanced in your area . If you can't find them go to www.google.com and enter the name in a search . If I know Google you will be overwhelmed by the amount of places you will find to purchase the doll .

The Look And Feel Of The Doll

What makes this doll so special is that there is a cartoon out that both of my children adore in the same theme . This is probably why my daughter cried a full hour with no breathing time for one . The doll's name is Cassie . She is the youngest dragon from the dragons that live in dragon land . However , now she gets to babysit baby dragons .
Cassie is pink and made out of that sturdy felt type material , Her eyes are large and blue with embroidered eyelashes . She has a large blue bow atop her head and tiny horns and wings in a delicate yellow color . Cassie's scales run down her back in a shiny golden yellow . Her medallion that is so famous in Dragon Land is sewn in and hung by a sewn in ribbon . No need to worry about your little ones choking on plastic parts . She also has her pouch that is so famous of the Dragon Tales dragons . You can store the babies accessories in this .
The babies come in a large egg that varies with colors , so you can pick your child's favorite . The egg comes with two babies inside that are a surprise which two . There are tons of different babies you may get . I think you get a boy and a girl baby ( Erica will not open hers until Christmas ) . The babies also come with , two bottles , two blankets , two brushes , and birth certificates . The coolest thing about the dragon eggs the babies come in is that the halves can be used as individual cradles for each baby .

The dolls are battery free . The box recommends for ages two and up and I find that to be a great recommendation . I know a couple of 8 and 7 year old girls who want a Cassie too , so you can't mess up ! This is really an adorable toy , however , get right down to it , I don't know if $24.95 is a fair price for just another stuffed toy .
