Pros: Nice price, bright colors, cute concept.
Cons: My daughter didn't care for it and it was never used
The Bottom Line: Nice toy, but has a startling aspect to it that not all babies care for.

| IcePrincess1's Full Review: Playskool Kick Start Gym |
I received this toy as a shower gift and could not wait until my daughter would be old enough to play with this super sweet toy. Adorable butterflies, an easy to kick pedal, sweet music and the sound of a baby laughing are all great features of this toy.
As soon as my daughter was big enough to kick at the toy, I laid her underneath the kick start gym in anticipation.
She gave the toy a kick, the toy spun and music played and the baby was horrified. Every time the music started up, she would startle and generally had no desire to play with the toy at all.
As she got older, she might crawl by and give it a swipe, but she just had no interest in this toy at all in any capacity.
Another bad thing about this toy, is that to leave it on, so baby can interact with it as they see fit, means leaving it on all the time. While this makes no difference in regards to battery life, any tiny movement will start the darn thing up, even in the middle of the night when mom is trying to get past in to put laundry away.
With a great deal of work the toy can be broken down for storing for future babies, but it's a very difficut task, and for the low price, might be easier to just purchase a new one.
