The unit's small size is very nice -- about the size of a credit card and not much thicker. It uses 3/32" jacks instead of the more standard 1/8" submini; I didn't get the spare adapter which Pogo sells but probably should have as I end up switching the adapter from the mic jack to the headphone jack a bit. The software gets the job done but is a little dorky and very bare-bones; doesn't convert formats, rip CD tracks or anything; I use GoldWave for that stuff, which is well worth the money. The RipFlash's software works on Win98 and Win2000 which is nice. The built-in FM radio works ok and is a nice feature but I don't use it much. Battery life is good for at least several hours of recording, probably more. I don't find myself having to charge it very often. Supposedly the firmware had (or has?) a bug causing it to lose a file if the battery dies while you're recording, but I haven't seen this happen. Haven't had any problems at all, in fact -- everything has worked as advertised and overall I'm very satisfied.
