Pros: Great fun for collecting and battling. Teaches skills and techniques used in real life
Cons: If you don't shop around it can be quite expensive
The Bottom Line: Great in helping build decks though some packs aren't as good as other. Great game and everyone would enjoy it if they just gave it a chance

| raptors5555's Full Review: Pokemon Trading Cards Booster Set |
I would just like to say that whoever invented the game of Pokemon is a statistical genius. There are very few, if any, loopholes in the game and it's fairly easy to learn and almost impossible to stop. It's a terrible thing how teachers at schools are confiscating Pokemon cards of kids playing during recess. This game teaches kids how to gather, collect, build, and construct a sixty card deck to help them improve their chances of winning. And they can't just pick the pretty looking pokemon, they have to balance out energy types with weakness, resistance, etc.(it helps their math skills too which can't be a bad thing).
Wouldn't you rather your kid playing a card game for hours and hours in his spare time and enjoying a game he likes than out on the streets or hanging out with kids he shouldn't be hanging around? I enjoy playing the game once in a while too. It's easy to learn and fun to play and the packs are great to collect. You can get them cheaper at your local Wal-Mart! 4 packs for $3.50!
