The Bottom Line: He is washable, huggable, so very soft and, above all, he is Pooh.

Those are the words my 2 year old used when she opened her birthday present. As a matter of fact, they are the same words she uses every time she sees a Winnie the Pooh. Pooh has become her favorite preschool character and with her birthday approaching, I started the search.
While shopping I found many Pooh toys. From books, to games, to stuffed toys. Pooh is everywhere which made my choosing a gift a difficult task. I finally decided upon My First Winnie the Pooh by Fisher Price. This Pooh Bear is the softest Pooh I have ever felt. He is made from polar fleece and so huggable, cuddly, & squishy, all that I imagined a Pooh bear should be.
My first Winnie the Pooh is designed for all ages. He is small enough for infants and toddlers to hold on to. He makes a great bedtime companion, as there is nothing hard that a child can "bonk" their heads on while sleeping. Pooh is a wonderful toy that softly rattles when shaken. He would also make a great collector's item for someone to set on display.
Once we took Pooh out of the package and cut off all the unnecessary and unsafe stuff, my daughter immediately had to have Pooh. She hugged him and sang to him, while dancing him to "nigh nigh." She has insisted on making sure he is covered up during nap and bed time and if she crawls into our bed with us, Pooh comes too.
Not only does Fisher Price sell My First Winnie the Pooh, they also sell:
My First Eeyore
My First Piglet
and of course, My First Tigger.
He is washable and is not an expensive item at all. I'm sure, depending on the store you shop at, you can find it a bit more expensive, but I paid less than $8 for Pooh. I was able to buy more Pooh toys to accompany him the gift bag.
Next time you are looking for a child's gift, check these out. They are great presents that will surely bring a smile to a young child's face. My daughter highly recommends Pooh.
