A Portable 3-hole Paper Puncher?:
.....I bought this binder 3-hole puncher last year because my teacher required we have one. I was astounded at first because I never Knew that there was a notebook version of the 3-hole puncher. It was only $3.99 at Staples. I still have it as of today. It beats having to have a desktop version that weights a few pounds or one of those stupid handheld ones that literally give you Carpel Tunnel's Disease. Especially if you are a student who carries around all their stuff with them.
Put To Use:
.....The portable version fits on the rings of any average 3-ring binder. Or you can just put it in the front of a backpack, which I highly DO NOT recommend this as to the fact that I did and mine broke. It will not break if you keep it on the binder rings. So just keep it in a binder.
.....This puncher can punch about two sheets at a time, recommended, but I do about five at a time. They just say that so you can't jam, break it, or injure yourself in the process and sue them. Paper is the only thing that can be punched, not cardboard or hard materials.
.....In class, the teacher hands out papers that were ran off and that he/she was too lazy to punch holes in. The handouts can easily be place in the hole puncher and punched. If I didn't have my notebook puncher, I would have just put them anywhere and lost them. It helps in keeping your stuff more organized which helps you get through school or work better. Maybe I'm going a bit over board here.
.....Also, along the front of the puncher is a ten-inch ruler straight edge that can be used for making a straight line or measuring something. There sixteen markings per inch, so you can measure to the sixteenth of an inch.
Structure & Dimensions:
.....The Swingline Notebook 3-hole puncher is about 10 1/4 inches long. It punches 3 9/32 inch holes. It is about an inch and a half wide.
Conclusion:
.....In the end, I like the Swingline portable 3-hole puncher. It is very lightweight, takes up little or no space in a binder or backpack and punches holes just as good as an expennsive unit desktop unit. It easily punches five sheets at a time. It comes in a variety of translucent colors, mine green.
