Woodworker's Full Review: Porter-Cable 2 1/2" Finish Nailer FN250A
I purchased the Porter Cable FN-250A based on my fathers recommendation. My intended usage was as a hobbiest woodworker. I have since then put it through its paces by installing a whole house of base and case moulding. The gun has performed flawlessly. In 5000 nails driven, I had one jamb which cleared easily without any tools.

The gun is light weight, and fits nicely into corners. I was driving 2 1/2" nails into oak trim and never had any trouble.

The nails are readily available at any home center.

I am very satisfied with this nail gun. I considered buying the cordless type of nailer, and I am glad that I did not. The sheer size of the cordless finish nailers would seem to be a problem to me.
