Pros: Inexpensive, large capacity, small footprint
Cons: Noisy, direct drive oil-less compressors aren't as reliable as oiled compressors.
The Bottom Line: Would purchase it again.

If you plan to use your compressor a few times every week, you really should look at getting an oil lubricated one.
But if you only use it occasionally like most of us, one of the new direct drive oil-less models (such as this one) will probably be fine.
I got a good deal on this compressor at a special weekend sale at our local tool shop. I've had it for a year now and it still works great.
I did find that it seemed to be only pumping up to around 125psi, even though it's rated for 135. Opening the control box and changing an adjustment fixed that.
It does seem to take a while to 'recharge' the tank, and like all direct drive oil-less compressors, it is very noisy.
This unit does have a pressure regulator that will adjust pressure from just above 0 psi to the maximum the compressor will produce. Also the handle does have a nice cushion.
The one major complaint I have about this product is that after I got it home and uncrated, I found the handle to be a little loose. Turning the bolts would not snug it up (I don't think the bolts were fitting very tight), and as I continued to move the unit using the handle, it would continue to get looser. I solved the problem by purchasing some larger bolts. But I think the whole thing started because it was not put together correctly at the factory. For that I'll lower this product's rating from 5 stars to 3.
